King and Queen Contest
Set Yer course, Mates! The 1st Annual Flagler Beach Pirate Invasion will be held May 19 thru 21, 2017, in Veterans Park at Flagler Beach! The Pirate Invasion will take place on Saturday, May 20th, starting at 11 am. The event itself is FREE. But you can make plans to kick off the invasion with our “The Ghosts of Port Royale at Tortugas” Pirate Ball.
Pirates, Mermaids, Rum, and fabulous vendors for your shopping pleasure. There will be black powder demonstrations, cannon fire, Anne Bonny’s Tavern, Clothing, jewelry and leather vendors, a Powder Monkey parade, and not to mention a Ball on Friday, May 19th at Tortugas Bar and Grill (separate event page)! This will be the first of its kind in Flagler Beach, so it’s sure to be a grand time!
Admission is free, so come out for some Pirate adventures and stay to hear our fantastic lineup of entertainers in the evening. There is plenty of parking along A1A and in neighboring lots. Accommodations are available and hosting hotels and rentals will be posted soon! Many restaurants in Flagler Beach will be serving throughout the weekend, so food is readily available within walking distance.

Who will be King and Queen of the Flagler Beach Pirate Invasion? You’ll be crowned Saturday in Veterans Park, lead the Pirate Promenade, get free tickets to the ball Friday night and the brunch Sunday, preside over all contests, carry the title for a full year and make public appearances! The winners are whoever raises the most $ for Christmas Come True, Inc.! All money must be turned in to Christmas Come True by Friday, May 12th.
Flagler Beach Gift Shop is the official Pirate Treasure Chest of t-shirts and goodies for this event.
